Its been a great past two weeks for live shows. On the Endless Recordings front, Akudama performed both in Manhattan and Brooklyn, while Tiny Whales came to town as part of their current tour to rock one of my favorite small NYC venues, Piano's.

Additionally, ZOX performed in NYC, and I was able to catch their hyper-energetic live show for the first time. I've been working (read:interning) with their manager for a few months now and it was great to experience the music of one of the 6 groups that we work with. I also had the opportunity to see the second annual "Plug Awards" at newish local venue, Terminal 5. Unfortunately, I was turned off by the remote location, expensive drinks, and poor sound combination. It was nice to see some songs from both Dizzee Rascal and Jose Gonzalez however, as they are two of my favorite "new" artists.
Aside from all of the live music, I have been rather busy with my graduate school work-load and the ongoing project of scheduling Akudama's three-month summer tour and E.P. release. The mixes are sounding fantastic, and I can not wait to show them to the world.
A lot of important birthdays this month, including my mom's and grandmother's, and the accompanying parties... Daylight savings being over has changed my attitude for the better, and I am getting really excited about the prospect of Spring!
Hope all is well out there,
drop me a line...
