I had a great time in Southern California last week. Had the opportunity to catch a performance by The Books for free at the Getty Center in L.A. Also, while in Silverlake, CA caught a new band called Cold War Kids and was extremely impressed by their live performance. It is recommended that you check them out here.

The Hot Chip show with Blanks. was a great time also. We are hoping they will contribute a remix as part of the Infinite Lives remix project.

Eagle Seagull : Great set at Abbey Lounge last night. The band crashed at my place and were really nice, so check out these Nebraskans and their very engaging indie rock!
(sounds like: The Cure, Arcade Fire, Wolf Parade) I think you'd like it.
